SNMP Traps

Advanced Network Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP trap servers.

To do this you need to specify the following options:
  • Event IP Address - Specify the IP address of the SNMP event you want to trap.
  • Event Port - Enter the port of the SNMP event you want to trap.
  • Trap OID - Enter the OID of the SNMP trap.
  • Enterprise OID - Enter Enterprise OID.

Also, you need to enter variable names and values to filter SNMP events and specify the condition when the SNMP event will satisfy the filter conditions.

Advanced Network Monitor is waiting for the required event and when the event  begins the program checks it to satisfy the specified filter conditions. If the event satisfies the filter conditions then the SNMP server is marked as "Success", otherwise it is marked as "Error".
