Oracle

Advanced Network Monitor uses ADO to check availability of Oracle databases. ADO means: ActiveX Data Object. It provides a DSN-less connection to a variety of databases, like MS SQL and MS Access.

You need to enter the following parameters:
  • Server Name - The name of the Oracle server;
  • User name  - credentials required to access the database;
  • Password - credentials required to access the database.
     

    Advanced Network Monitor tries to connect to the Oracle server. If the connection was established successfully then the server is marked as "Success", otherwise it is marked as "Error".
