File Existence

Advanced Network monitor allows you to check file existence. 

The File Existence check takes the following parameters:

  • File Path  (UNC Path) - The path of the file to be checked in UNC format (i.e. \\server\share\... syntax);
  • Server is up  - You can specify the server is up or down if the file exists (or not).
  • If selected file - specify a condition when the server is marked as "Success" or "Error".

    Advanced Network Monitor checks for existence of the specified file. If you specified the "File does not exists" and the file does not exist the server is marked as "Error"  or "Success" depending on value of the "Server is" option. If the value equals "Up", the server is marked as "Success", otherwise the server is marked as "Error".
