Common server properties
This tab of the Server properties window allows you to describe common parameters for all servers independently from it's type.
The Server Name control contains the name of selected server. This name will be shown in all reports and alerts.
The Parent Server list box can contain the name and type of another server from the current project. The current server will not be checked if the parent server will be down, waiting or at the maintenance.
The Running check interval control contains the server polling interval in seconds when the server is operating normally.
The Down check interval control contains the server polling interval in seconds when the server is down or going to be down.
The Server is down after XX failed checks control allows you to specify the number of negative check results before switching server to the Down state.
The Server is down if check duration exceeds check box allows you to enable the maximum polling duration in the seconds field. The server will return the negative check result if the checking time will be more than specified in the seconds field.
