Creating Servers

To create a new server you need to select the Server|New menu item. The Server Properties window will be displayed. In this window enter the following data in the corresponding fields:

1) Server Name - Enter server name. The server name can consist of any symbols (letters, digits, blank);
2) Parent Server (optional) - You may assign a parent server to the created server. To do this enter the name of the parent server or select them from the drop down list..
3) The Running check interval field allows you to specify the check interval in seconds. The default value is 60 seconds;
4) Also with the Down Check Interval option you may assign the check interval at the situation when the server is down. The default value is 30 seconds;
5) By checking the "Server is down if check duration exceeds" option you may set the check duration before the check will timeout.
