Common page

The Common page of the Options window controls the appearance of the Advanced Network Monitor.

The Maximum number of simultaneous checked servers control allows you to set the number of checking servers at one time. This allows you to prevent servers overloading.

The Maximum server check time control defines the maximum server check duration in seconds. The server check will be stopped if the checked server does not responds for the specified time interval. The server cloud be assigned it's individual check interval by editing it's properties.

The Number of lines in log control defines the displayed number of lines for the server checking log.

The Number of points in graph control defines the displayed points number for the server checking graph.

Unchecking the Show only this session points control allows displaying the checks made in the previous monitoring session and stored in the servers logs.

The Save server logs to this folder control allows you to select the folder where servers logs will be stored.

The Save data for last control sets the time period for saving log data in days.

Advanced Network Monitor is able to store logs in two methods. The What to save control allows you to select the log saving method:
  • The State changes only method stores only the server state changes.
  • The All check results method stores all server state results.
