Service Page
You may monitor your servers using Advanced Network Monitor as an NT service application. Once you installed Advanced Network Monitor as a service the application can be started automatically at system boot or by a user through the Services control panel applet. Services can execute even when no user is logged on to the system.
The Service page of the Options window allows you to install or uninstall the application as a service.
You can install the service by clicking on the Install as service button.
To uninstall the service click on the Uninstall service button.
You can run the service under your Local System Account or under the specified account by selecting the corresponding option. If you select the option to run the service under the specified account you need to specify the Username and Password.
The ANM can start another service (ANMWatch) when started in the service mode itself.
The ANMWatch service checks if the main ANM service is running and restarts the main ANM service if it is not running.
The ANMWatch service is started and stopped by the main ANM service, so, you don't need to start or stop it manually.
